Services and Fees

We perform marine Pre-purchase surveys (for the buyer), Vessel condition and valuation (C&V) surveys (for the owner, bank or insurance company), and Damage & Claim surveys on recreational vessels located throughout Kentucky, Southern Indiana, and Northern Tennessee.

Additional Services:

When performed at the time of initial survey:

Trial Run/Shakedown cruise: $200 1st hour, $75 2nd hour
Out of water hull and running gear inspection in addition to in-water survey: $100 or waived if the survey takes place on a vessel that is already out of the water.
Spectrographic Engine Oil Analysis with lab report: Call for current rates.
Ultrasonic hull thickness testing from inside the hull - vessel in water - $100 or performed as a courtesy during a pre-purchase or insurance survey. Ultrasonic hull thickness testing from outside the hull - out of water - $300.

Note: Moisture testing on FRP (fiberglass) hulls must be done out of the water and dry for a minimum of 24 hours prior to testing.

Survey Reports:

All survey reports are delivered via email in a PDF format. Paper copies and fax deliveries are available for an nominal fee.
